Mozilla Thunderbird 45.5.0 was first offered to stable channel on November 18, 2016, one and a half months after the release of the previous security update, namely Thunderbird 45.4.0, which many of you use on your personal computers for all of your e-mail needs, but also for RSS and chat activities. While not a major release, it looks like Mozilla Thunderbird 45.5.0 supports changes to the character limit in Twitter, and addresses an issue where the incorrect quoting level indication was shown when attempting to reply to a message with selected text containing the quote.
