MPV 0.19.0 is here five weeks after the release of MPV 0.18.1 to improve the build system with and new “–htmldir” option, implement atomics support as a mandatory requirement, as well as to modify the wscript to add proper unversioned SONAME for the Android mobile platform. New features include a stream_cb API (Applications Programming Interface) that can be used for user-defined stream implementations, a video processor selection to the vf_d3d11vpp component, and a “–hwdec=videotoolbox-copy” option to the videotoolbox command, enabling hardware accelerated decoding with video filters.
