A second Beta development snapshot of the upcoming Mutter 3.22 release, which will be available on September 21, 2016, as part of the launch of the highly anticipated GNOME 3.22 desktop environment, has been made available for public beta testing by one of its maintainers, namely Florian M??llner. Mutter 3.22 Beta 2 is here to add several improvements to the next-generation Wayland display server, such as monitor rotation support, the ability to use the same output naming logic as X.Org Server, and better support for chat notification replies in GNOME Shell.
