NAS4Free 11 has been in development for quite some time now, and it’s here to replace the NAS4Free 10.x series. As expected, it’s a major update based on the latest FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-P3 operating system, adding a bunch of new features and improvements, along with several bug fixes and usability enhancements. Prominent new features of NAS4Free 11 include system RRDGraphs monitoring, new SMB protocols and configuration options, integrity checks for firmware upgrades, new Zend OPcache and APCu modules, FastCGI as default web server, updated config to version 2.8, and updated language translations.
