Neptune 4.3 Release is Based on Debian 7.8 Wheezy and Linux Kernel 3.16.3 – Screenshot Tour

Neptune 4.3 is now based on Debian 7.8 (Wheezy), powered by Linux kernel 3.16.3, which includes many patches for the distribution’s default file system, Btrfs, as well as the Nouveau video driver for Nvidia video cards. Chromium 41 is now the default web browser, and the VLC Media Player was updated to version 2.2, LibreOffice office suite to version 4.3.3, and Icedove email and news client to version 31.5.0.
