The new Raspberry Pi image (2017-06-20-netbsd-raspi-earmv6hf.img.gz) is available for download right now, and it appears to include various fixes that would improve the use of NetBSD on Raspberry Pi 3 single-board computers, specifically a boot problem. They are based on NetBSD-current 8.99.1 and ship with BIND 9.10.5-P1 and mlterm 3.8.1. As it’s the first time we’re talking here about the Raspberry Pi image of NetBSD, we’ll like to inform those interested in trying it out about some of its features. For starters, the image is designed to fit a 4GB SD card and it’s loaded with the current Raspberry Pi kernel. It also comes with X11 and IceWM, USB/video support, and increased inodes on /dev/ld0a.
