“If Windows 2000 is presented as a viable product, then
shouldn’t future enhancements to Novell’s and Netscape’s products
be deemed viable as well? Novell just released NDS for Solaris
(though it was probably not available at press time). But Novell
will also release NDS for Linux this year and NDS for Windows 2000.
The company also inked a deal with Lucent to port NDS to Lucent’s
Cajun switch.”
