The kernel vulnerability, affecting the 2.6.32 kernel packages, found in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx), is a flaw in the Linux kernel’s memory handling when hugetlb is enabled, which could lead to a denial of service or allow an unprivileged local attacker to gain higher privileges. The security flaw can be fixed if you upgrade your system(s) to the linux-image-2.6.32-41 (2.6.32-41.90) package(s).
