The SteamOS Update 159 has been pushed to the Alchemist repository and includes a new Nvidia video driver that, unfortunately, deprecates support for older Nvidia graphics cards, including G8x, G9x, and GT2xx. In addition to the updated Nvidia video driver, the new SteamOS Update 159 operating system includes an updated branding, as well as the latest security updates from the upstream Debian GNU/Linux distribution.
