A Nokia-branded flagship smartphone was said to be officially unveiled in late February, but it turned out that Nokia 6 was released instead, as a mid-range offering from HMD Global, which is yet to introduce a true flagship class device since it started building Android smartphones using the Nokia name for which it’s the exclusive licensee. The image below shows the Nokia 8 device, which HMD Global will be unveiling later this month, on July 31. The smartphone appears to feature a 5.3-inch QHD display with 2560×1440 resolution, sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, and ship in two variants, with 4GB and 6GB RAM.
