NY Times: Web Search Technology Receives Financial Injection

Smart Browsing is a newer feature of Netscape and Internet
Explorer. It allows you to type in a description of the web site
you want to visit, and the browser will decide your destination URL

makes it possible to find corporate sites and products simply by
typing their names into a browser.”

“The investment underscores the efforts of Network Solutions to
reposition itself once domain name registration is opened up to
competition.”
