OIN, Microsoft, IBM and the Linux Foundation are teaming up to support Unified Patents’ new OSS Zone, with financial support of millions of dollars over several years. The OSS Zone will hinder patent troll activities toward OSS, like the recent Rothschild Patent Imaging lawsuit brought against the GNOME Foundation.
