Open Source Community Rallies in Response to Heartbleed Bug

The Linux Foundation announced that it has recruited Amazon Web Services, Cisco, Dell, Facebook and others to create a Core Infrastructure Initiative through which they will jointly fund open source projects. The move is a direct result of the discovery of the Heartbleed vulnerability.
