Powered by the latest long-term support Linux 4.1.10 kernel, openSUSE Leap 42.1 Release Candidate upgrades the open-source office suite package to LibreOffice 5.0, adds approximately 400 new packages that were not available in the Beta build, and contains numerous community packages that have been built based on the source code of the SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) operating system.
