The development cycle of openSUSE Leap 42.2 will continue with the first of two Beta releases, which should hit the streets exactly one month from today, on August 25, 2016, and it looks like the development team has a lot of work in progress to get everything in shape for Beta 1. However, things are looking pretty stable for now on the openSUSE Leap 42.2 front. After the Beta 1 release, there will be a second and last Beta version, which should land on September 21, followed closely by the first Release Candidate (RC) build on October 6. The second Release Candidate is coming October 18, 2016.
