According to the developer, many of the packages available for the openSUSE Tumbleweed rolling distribution are well in line with what the first Release Candidate brought to the upcoming openSUSE Leap 42.2 stable release, and it looks like a total of four snapshots introduces several important updates. Among these, we can mention that KDE Plasma 5.8.1 and GNOME 3.22.1 desktop environments, KDE Applications 16.08.2 software suite, as well as the Boost 1.62 libraries. As such, we’re urging all users of the openSUSE Tumbleweed operating system to update their installation as soon as possible to receive these packages.
