Based on Chromium 67.0.3396.87, the Opera 54 web browser introduces the ability to view local and global news directly on the Speed Dial. Users will be able to configure the new feature to display news in their language or country for a more varied content, filter the content shown by selecting multiple categories, as well as to personalize the news feed from the Personal News page. The second biggest feature of the Opera 54 web browser is a new Update & Recovery section in the menu designed to make updating and recovering Opera a breeze and more efficient. To access the new Update & Recovery menu page, users would have to click on the O Menu button if they use Linux or Windows, as well as to click Opera in the menu bar if they’re on macOS.
