words above, which are often ill-quoted in the English language as
the proper attribution is missing. The words have been appropriated
and re-used with such commonality that the true author is so rarely
given credit for his expression. That phrase, for those who do not
read French, is loosely translated to mean ‘the more things change,
the more they stay the same.’

“What brings me to enlighten my readers is the continual
disturbance and exhortation of so many to proclaim the end of
Linux, its early demise, its inability to continue. I do believe
that the authors of such ideas are merely fostering a belief that
does not exist in reality. The Linux community may proudly proclaim
otherwise. Much like Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) before us, we too
may say that the reports of our demise is but a great
exaggeration…”
