Tim O’Reilly, president of O’Reilly & Associates, reports
sales of its UNIX technical books have surged. Sales of Unix In
A Nutshell, the best-selling UNIX book in publishing history,
have tripled in the past month, as have those of many of the
company’s other UNIX titles. “We believe UNIX is finding a whole
new audience,” said O’Reilly.
O’Reilly’s Linux titles, which include Linux In A
Nutshell and Running Linux, are among the
best-selling guides to this Open Source UNIX variant.
