Dubbed Rinaldo, Parsix GNU/Linux 7.5r0 is built on top of the upstream Debian 7.0 Wheezy repositories as of April 26, 2015, updates the default desktop environment to GNOME 3.14, and it is powered by some of the latest stable Linux technologies, such as Linux kernel 3.14.41 LTS, GRUB 2, Glibc 2.13, and X.Org Server 1.16.4, all of which bring an improved desktop performance. Linux kernel 3.14.41 LTS is included in the new Parsix GNU/Linux release and it’s patched with Brain Fuck Scheduler (BFS), TuxOnIce 3.3, and a few more other goodies.
