New security updates are available for the stable Parsix GNU/Linux 8.5 “Atticus” distribution, and upcoming Parsix GNU/Linux 8.10 “Erik” release, as of July 4, 2016, among which we can mention for the Wireshark, Apache Tomcat, GIMP, LibreOffice, Linux kernel, libvirt, xerces-c, libcommons-fileupload-java, and libpdfbox-java packages, which means that users are urged to update their installations as soon as possible.
