Parsix GNU/Linux 8.10 “Erik” is the latest stable and most advanced release of the Debian-based operating system, launched on July 31, 2016, and it always gets the newest security patches from the upstream Debian GNU/Linux 8 “Jessie” software repositories. Therefore, Parsix GNU/Linux 8.10 “Erik” has been fully synchronized with Debian Stable, which means that users received security updates for open-source software like GnuPG, Flex, ImageMagick, Rails, Quagga, MuPDF, and libgcrypt20, since the previous update from August 17, 2016.
