Parsix GNU/Linux devs regularly backport the newest security fixes released upstream in the software repos of Debian GNU/Linux 8 “Jessie” operating system series, on which Parsix GNU/Linux – 8.15(Nev) is based, offering users the same level of security, compatibility with newer devices, and reliability. Security updates have been released for the Firebird, Samba, WordPress, Wireshark, Chromium, MariaDB, ioquake3, Jhead, ImageMagick, jbig2dec, Audio File Library, R, Zabbix, Rubyzip, libquicktime, TeX Live, TNEF, Pidgin, icoutils, and eject packages during the entire month of March.
