Among the applications and libraries that received new security updates, we can mention the Chromium web browser, Squid proxy server, Tor anonymity network tool, Samba file sharing software, Apache Tomcat 7 & 8 servlet container and web server, FlightGear flight simulator, and APT command-line package manager. There are also updates for the PHP5, libupnp, libxml2, and python-bottle libraries, as well as the latest build of the Game Music Emulator software, which patches an important security vulnerability that was mediatized recently. All these are now available for users of Parsix GNU/Linux 8.10 “Erik” and 8.15 “Nev.”
