Parsix GNU/Linux 8.5 TEST2, the distribution has been rebased on the long-term supported Linux 4.1.8 kernel and comes with updates for many of its core components and pre-installed applications. Before going into details about the included updates, we should mention that Parsix GNU/Linux 8.5 TEST2 has been synchronized with the upstream software repositories of the Debian GNU/Linux 8.2 (Jessie) operating system as of September 21, 2015.
