Long story short, users of the current stable Parsix GNU/Linux 8.10 “Erik” release, as well as early adopters of the upcoming Parsix GNU/Linux 8.15 “Nev” branch, are urged to update their installations as soon as possible to receive a new kernel version, namely Linux kernel 4.4.32 LTS, which was announced on November 15, 2016. Additionally, it looks like the software repositories of the Parsix GNU/Linux operating system have been, once again, synced with upstream, which means that you’ll also receive all the latest security updates that have been pushed recently in the Debian GNU/Linux 8 “Jessie” repos.
