“What’s the most far-fetched rumor making the rounds about
Microsoft and the DOJ? This one’s way, way out there: To get away
from the feds, the Redmondians might relocate 3 hours north to
Vancouver.
“That’s a good one, eh?” said Le Chat, finishing
off his last bottle of Molson Golden.

“Another tipster was shocked when he saw an internal document in
which Microsoft listed some of its goals for Windows 2000. One
bulleted item was “Improve reliability by 50 percent,” according to
the tipster, who joked, “That would be a good start.”
