a trickle.”

“As IBM, Oracle Corp. and Sybase Inc. prepare to ship new
versions of their high-end databases for Linux this quarter,
interest in the upstart operating system as a database platform
remains moderate.”

“Just 2 percent of 892 organizations worldwide planning to
deploy Oracle8 or Oracle8i in the next year expect to do so atop
Linux, according to a survey released late last month by the
International Oracle Users Group Americas.”
