Pear OS 8 Linux Distribution Will Be Inspired by iOS 7

Now that iOS 7 has finally arrived on iPhone, iPad and iPod devices, we believe that it’s time for David Tavares to finalize his Pear OS 8 Linux distribution and release to public, a task that will take him a few more days (probably). Looking at the screenshot above, we can see lots of resemblance with the newly released iOS 7 mobile operating system from Apple, and we have to admit that it looks pretty good. Along with the release of Pear OS 8, David Tavares will also prepare a few other nice surprises for Linux users (especially for those who were overly-critical when they heard about him), such as Google Drive client for Ubuntu, called SyncDrive, and Pear Dev Center, an app that will give anyone access to the Pear Apps sources.
