pfSense software version 2.3.4 comes more than two months after the pfSense 2.3.3 update, and promises to bring even more system stability improvements and bug fixes, security patches, as well as a bunch of new features. First off, this release is based on FreeBSD 10.3-RELEASE-p19. Updated components include ntpd 4.2.8p10_2, cURL 7.54.0, and libevent 2.1.8, and the Dashboard received a small revamp to also display the BIOS version, release date, and vendor, as well the Netgate Unique ID, making it possible to identify an instance of pfSense software for those who want to acquire support services.
