Today’s release of PlayOnLinux and PlayOnMac brings support for the recently released Wine 1.8 software, which is now used as the default Wine version for the Mac OS X platform. To be more precise, the Wine-Staging 1.8 app is used in PlayOnLinux 4.2.10 and PlayOnMac 4.2.10.
