Powerful Shotwell Open-Source Image Viewer Adds Option to Filter by Saved Search

Today, we’re happy to inform our readers about the release of Shotwell 0.23.5, the latest stable version of the open source software, which, according to the internal changelog attached at the end of the article, brings quite some improvements, lots of updated translations, and many bugfixes. There are also a handful of new features implemented in the Shotwell 0.23.5 release, such as the ability to filter images by saved search, or the reimplementation of the “–disable-extra-plugins” configuration option that lets users disable extra plugins. Additionally, the PhotoTable component received new SQL indexes.
