“SPEEDUS.COM… announced that it has completed the installation
of a Linux-based Internet gateway transmitter in its Network
Operations Center in Brooklyn, NY. The new transmitter gives
SPEEDUS.COM’s network Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) capability. The
DVB capability, in conjunction with the Company’s dedicated fiber
optic backbone, microwave relays and its fourteen fully functional
Internet Broadcast Stations, gives SPEEDUS.COM the ability to
broadcast to selected groups on the Internet or so called
“multicast” capability. SPEEDUS.COM now has the ability to provide
entertainment quality transmission of all forms of full screen,
full motion video and audio to its Internet customers in New
York.”

“SPEEDUS.COM provides its SPEED(SM) super high-speed Internet
service in New York.”

“The SPEED service is delivered via Internet Broadcast Stations
that are fed from the SPEEDUS.COM Network Operations Center (NOC)
in the Brooklyn Army Terminal. Six Internet Broadcast Stations are
located in Manhattan, six are in Brooklyn and two are in
Queens.”
