initial public offering of 4,400,000 shares of its common stock at
$30 per share. All of the shares were offered by VA Linux
Systems.“
“Credit Suisse First Boston acted as lead manager, and Deutsche
Banc Alex. Brown, Hambrecht & Quist and Lehman Brothers acted
as co-managers of the underwriting group. The underwriters have a
30-day option to purchase up to 660,000 additional shares of common
stock from the Company solely to cover over-allotments, if any. The
Company’s common stock will be listed on the Nasdaq National Market
under the symbol “LNUX.”
