Puppy Linux Fork Quirky 8.2 Out with Linux Kernel 4.11, Ubuntu 16.04.2 Packages

Built using the woofQ Quirky Linux build system and binary packages from the Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system, Quirky Linux 8.2 is fully compatible with all of the software repositories of Ubuntu Linux. The system is now powered by the Linux 4.11.11 kernel that’s patched with AUFS support. Among the improvements and changes implemented in the Quirky Linux 8.2 release, we can mention better support for the NTFS file system, the implementation of several apps, including aemenu-pango, bcm, JWMDesk, replaceit, Take-a-shot, and UrxvtControl, and better support for certain network connection.
