Q4OS 1.6.3 “Orion” is here three weeks after the release of Q4OS 1.6.2, and it looks like it comes with many goodies for fans of the Debian-based distro built around the Trinity Desktop Environment (TDE) project designed from the offset to keep the spirit of the KDE 3.5 desktop alive. Probably the most important change in the Q4OS 1.6.3 “Orion” release is that both the installation-only and live ISO images now come with support for booting on modern UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) machines. Moreover, the OS is has been rebased on the latest Debian GNU/Linux 8.6 “Jessie” operating system.
