Q4OS 2.4 “Scorpion” Linux OS Released, Based on Debian GNU/Linux 9.2 “Stretch”

After being in development for the past several months, the Q4OS 2 series of the Debian-based OS has been finally materialized as version 2.4, dubbed “Scorpion” and derived from the recently released Debian GNU/Linux 9.2 “Stretch” operating system. But the best part is that this major release is LTS (Long Term Support), which means that it will receive support for the next five years. Using the TDE (Trinity Desktop Environment) 14.0.5 as default desktop environment, Q4OS 2.4 “Scorpion” offers exclusive features and in-house built utilities, such as a Welcome Screen that integrates support for installing additional desktops like KDE Plasma 5, LXQt, LXDE, Xfce, or even Linux Mint’s Cinnamon, a Setup Utility that makes installing third-party apps a breeze.
