GNU/Linux developer Arne Exton is happy to announce that his RaspEX operating system based on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS for Raspberry Pi 3 and Pi 2 devices works with the official Raspberry Pi Touch Display. The GNU/Linux developer known for several Linux kernel-based operating systems has received earlier today one of the cool 7-inch (800×480) touchscreen monitors that have been specifically designed to work with the tiny Raspberry Pi single-board computers. To his surprise, RaspEX works out-of-the-box with the 7″ touchscreen monitor.
