Red Hat’s Software Collections 2.3 and Developer Toolset 6 Suites Enter Beta

Red Hat Software Collections 2.3 Beta includes many updated components, starting with the latest MySQL 5.7 and Redis 3.2 open source databases, as well as Perl 5.24, Python 3.5, Ruby 2.3 and PHP 7.0 open source languages, and continuing with Git 2.9, Thermostat 1.6, and the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) monitoring tool. Additionally, the collection ships with Mongo 3.2 and Eclipse Neon 4.6.1. On the other hand, the Beta release of Red Hat Developer Toolset 6.0 comes with the newest GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) 6.2.1 compiler, GDB (GNU Project Debugger) 7.12 open source debugger, as well as an up-to-date toolchain consisting of GNU binutils 2.27, elfutils 0.167, strace 4.12, SystemTap 3.0, Dyninst 9.2.0, and Valgrind 3.12.
