ROSA R9 “LXQt” is the easiest and ascetic flavor of the Mandriva forked ROSA distribution. It is built around the latest LXQt 0.11 desktop environment and was specifically designed for old computers, especially netbooks, that come with only 512 MB of RAM (system memory). The ROSA R9 “LXQt” edition provides users a basic LXQt desktop interface without a composite manager or effects, using a simplified theme. It ships with Pale Moon as default web browser, which is designed to consume fewer resources than Firefox or Chrome, as well as popular apps like Audacious, Rosa Media Player, Pidgin, qBitTorrent, and Trojita.
