Rygel 0.27.1 is the first milestone towards the next stable release of the project, Rygel 0.28, which will be distributed along with the GNOME 3.18 desktop environment this fall, on September 23, 2015. This release brings code style fixes, string updates, support for exporting only the necessary symbols by linking plugins, as well as some code changes that enable direct use of the gupnp_get_uuid () function instead of the libuuid library. Numerous other components have been improved as well.
