Samba 4.2.3 Is a Major Release with IPv6 Improvements, Over 40 Bugfixes

Samba 4.2.3 is here to add IPv6 support to the ADS (Active Directory Server) client side to which Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) connects. It also adds IPv6 support for determining Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) during Active Directory Server (ADS) join, and enables IPv6-based DNS (Domain Name Server) connections for ADS clients on Amazon S3.
