The second Samsung Experience 9.0 Beta release, which is based on Google’s Android 8.0 “Oreo” mobile operating system powered by the Linux kernel, is now rolling out to Galaxy S8 and S8+ users in the US, UK, and South Korea tagged as version number G950FXXU1ZQK4. The update appears to include Google’s October Android security patch, along with stability improvements for the DeX mode, which lets users transform their Galaxy S8 devices into full-fledged Linux PCs. The update also improves the stability of the Launcher, as well as new clock styles for the Lock screen and Always On Display.
