Samsung Says Android Oreo Comes to Unlocked Galaxy S8, Note 8 Phones This April

While many Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 owners on the Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon mobile networks in the United States and other parts of the world have already received the Android 8.0 Oreo software update, customers that bought a carrier-unlocked device have to wait a little longer for Google’s latest Android Oreo operating system. According to Samsung, the Android 8.0 Oreo software update is coming in about three weeks from the moment of publishing to all unlocked Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones. The rollout is expected to take a few days or even weeks throughout the entire world, but you can now rest assured that you’ll finally get that Android Oreo update on your Galaxy device this April.
