“NTT DoCoMo Inc. says its new high-speed Internet phone can do
almost everything a personal computer can. Unlike most PCs, though,
it won’t run on Microsoft Corp. software.“DoCoMo President Keiji Tachikawa snubbed the world’s largest
software maker last month when he said the phones, debuting in
February, will use operating systems such as Linux and Symbian Ltd.
