Securely sharing a password using Docker, D-Note, and Nginx

Working in the IT field, at some point or another we have all had to share a really important password with someone on the other side of the world. How can we do that while still walking the line between security and convenience? We utilize Docker, D-Note, and Nginx to build an encrypted self-destructing(and optionally password protected) message store.
