“It occurred to me this morning while reading the rumour of
Ubuntu 7.06 being called ‘Feisty Fawn’ that the Ubuntu naming
conventions are inconsistent at best. It *looks* alphabetic, but it
just isn’t, Warty Warthog, Hoary Hedgehog, Breezy Badger, Dapper
Drake, Edgy Eft, Feisty Fawn… Not only does ‘Fawn’ translate into
‘Fag’ in Brazilian but I long for a consistent naming
convention.“While some of my associates dislike the Ubuntu naming
conventions I find them charming…”
