Shotwell 0.25.1 is here one month after the Shotwell 0.25.0 release, and it looks like it’s a bugfix update that removes the deprecated libsoup API (Application Programming Interface), many of the deprecated API calls for GTK+ 3.14 or lower versions, various of the worthless warnings generated by Vala, as well as GtkUIManager and Gtk*Action*. The extra box around the WebKit authenticator view was also removed. Moreover, Tumblr support should work again in Shotwell 0.25.1, as the developer fixed a compilation error with newer versions of the Vala compiler. Piwigo support was improved as well, as the dialogs were updated and the category parsing simplified.
