Should Adobe release software for Linux?

I have no personal interest in using Adobe products, but I can see the appeal for certain users. I also have no problem with Adobe charging Linux users for its products. If people want to use them and are willing to pay then more power to Adobe and their Linux customers. I know that some free software purists might not welcome paid Adobe products coming to Linux. But I don’t see them as a threat to GIMP or any other open source application. I believe that Adobe products are simply another option for Linux users who might get some real value from them.
