The biggest new features in Simplicity Linux 15.10 are the availability of Linux kernel 4.1.1 LTS, and rebasing of the entire system on the LXPup distribution, a Puppy Linux variant featuring the LXDE desktop environment. LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) has been highly customized with the wbar as the dock-like application launcher tool. Among the pre-installed software, we can mention LibreOffice, Mozilla Thunderbird, and many others.
